The Bread Social Currumbin

If you can’t help yourself when it comes to baked goods, it’s fairly likely you’re already well familiar with The Bread Social. After eight years baking from The Farm Byron Bay, mates Tom Scott, Sammy Saulwick and Paul Giddings have embarked upon their most ambitious project to date – an enormous 1259-sqm space in Currumbin Waters that will eventually be the new The Bread Social HQ. The entire facility is currently under construction, however the first stage, a kiosk stocked with a selection of faves (custard tarts, fruit-topped danishes, croissants, wraps and rustic, handmade sourdough) is now open from Monday to Saturday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. By year’s end, the site will contain a 120-sqm internal cafe with a scattering of alfresco dining, a pastry room and a state-of-the-art industrial bakery that will be the brand-new The Bread Social headquarters.
