A sophisticated sip spot has come to life at the top of the old Melbas on the Park staircase – it’s called The Beverly and it’s dishing up some serious Los Angeles glamour. The luxe new lounge bar is the handiwork of hospitality heavyweights Joey Lamattina (Platinum Nightclub, LOVE Nightlife, Shuffle and Lil Sister, to name a few) alongside Miles Rozman of Rozzis Franchise Group. The million-dollar transformation is nothing short of show-stopping featuring multiple bars, a scattering of plush velvet booths and a luxe palette of rich emerald green, blush pink and brass. There will be a heavy focus on live performances. A baby grand piano sits elegantly beside a DJ booth, a visual metaphor for the two sides of The Beverly’s personality. By day, it will boast a lounge bar vibe complete with charcuterie boards, crafted cocktails and keys by LIAM (Life Is A Myth). Then, as the night drifts on, the lights will dim and one of the venue’s incredible DJs will hit the decks to deliver a late-night venue with booth and bottle service. Speaking of, when it comes to the libations, The Beverly delivers a curated cocktail menu that features a clutch of classics alongside bespoke creations, and an extensive selection of premium spirits, champagne, wine and craft beers.
