It’s possible you’ve driven past it a thousand times and never noticed The Stokehouse Miami hiding in plain sight on Christine Avenue until it recently unveiled a fresh lick of matte-black paint and vivid white signage. Perched across the carpark from The Paddock Bakery, the store has been operating as an outlet for Stokehouse Australia, which owns women’s fashion brand Amuse Society, men’s surf brand Vissla and luxe Italian eyewear label D’Blanc, but has recently moved from being a straight-up warehouse outlet into something more of a hybrid between an end-of-season shop and traditional retail store in terms of aesthetic. As you may expect from a brand called The Stokehouse, it’s all about good vibes, which is precisely what you’ll find alongside current and past-season swimwear and resort wear, accessories, wetsuits, boardies, tees and singlets. Whilst some things are technically end-of-season in fashion terms, they’re still bang on-point, just cheaper than what you’d expect to pay in mainstream stores.
