SouthEast Espresso

Sitting pretty a street behind Rainbow Bay Beach is SouthEast Espresso, a Cooly brunching hotspot that’s a favourite among sandy-footed locals. The cafe serves up Tweed’s Ground Control Coffee alongside a wholefood-inspired menu that includes hits like the smashed avo with Byron Bay fetta, dukkah, rocket and lemon on organic sourdough topped with house-smoked New Zealand salmon, as well as the organic omelette with avocado, sauteed greens, sauerkraut, dukkah and chilli. If you’re hiking up to Point Danger and want something to takeaway, there’s The Bread Social croissants, nitrate-free ham and cheese toasties as well as a range of fresh healthy smoothies that make great on-the-go snacks.
