Seafood lovers, we have some exciting news. You can now enjoy beautifully cooked, fresh fish and chips overlooking Coolangatta Beach at Selfish. Located on the ground floor of The Strand, the venue is the work of husband and wife team Adrian and Angela Wright who are combining 30 years of chef experience and customer service to bring you fish and chips, but not as you know it. Forget stodgy chips and soggy fish, here, everything is made and cooked to order so nothing is pre-crumbed or battered. The result, well, you’ll just have to come down and see for yourself. Dine in or if the sun is shining opt to takeaway and enjoy al fresco style in the park. Keen to up the ante? Treat yourself to a hot and cold seafood platter paired with a chilled glass of Veuve Clicquot. Finish your fishy feast with a battered Mars Bar or a pineapple fritter, if you dare. Selfish is licensed too so if you fancy a beer, wine and/or champagne with dinner (or lunch), that’s a-okay. Selfish is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
