See Thai

If you love Thai food and go to great lengths to seek out truly authentic eateries, then let us introduce you to See Thai. The casual dining space, which lies within the emerging Sundale precinct that lies below the Meriton Towers just before Sundale Bridge, is the handiwork of Thai chef Rit Suttinual – also the owner of long-running Robina eatery Thai on the Hill – and partner Jade Kim. The duo have created a warm and welcoming venue to deliver some of Thailand’s tastiest dishes. Crack open your favourite drop (it’s BYO!), order a serve of roti with peanut sauce, fried chicken wings or crab spring rolls, then kick back and work your way through the rest of See Thai’s extensive menu. You’ll find everything from tasty curries and noodle dishes, to an abundance of fresh and colourful stir-fry combinations, soups (the tom yum is a delight) and vibrant salads. Our picks? Don’t look past the fruity roasted-duck salad or the green curry served with a grilled fillet of salmon. Best to bring a few friends so you can share your way through the menu – just make sure the deep-fried whole barramundi is part of the feast. Oh, and leave some room for sweet finishers like banana fritters with ice-cream or the sago with black beans.

Hot tip – you’ll find a heap of gluten-free dishes here, so if you’re gluten sensitive, you’re in the right place.
