Scooters At Kirra is a quirky espresso bar and eating house open seven days for breakfast and lunch. Slightly elevated under the Centre Court apartment building, Scooters has fantastic views across the green to the ocean. Serving up Di Bella Coffee with a friendly smile, the menu has stand out dishes like the Spanish burrito and freshly squeezed juices and the display cabinet is stacked with cakes, slices, muffins, sandwiches and quiches. Out front the specials board proudly announces daily specials with creations like James Dean’s Buns, spiced pumpkin pancakes and bacon topped with walnuts and maple syrup or Creature from the Black Lagoon Benedict, with poached eggs, spinach, mushrooms and fetta on toasted muffins and hollandaise. There is free WiFi, dog-friendly seats out front and it is a great place to read the paper in the sun, listening to the surf, while you await a hearty breakfast.
