Rosé Gelateria

If you count gelato, baked goods and coffee as some of your favourite things, you’re going to appreciate Sanctuary Cove’s newest sweet-treat dispensary, Rosé Gelateria. With dreamy rose-hued French-washed walls, crisp white bench seating, brushed-gold accents and plush velvet cushions suffice to say, this is not your run-of-the-mill gelateria. Aesthetics aside, we all know it’s what’s inside that counts and trust us when we say – this place is the goods. Created by two Sanctuary Cove locals, the pair have spent countless hours (days, weeks, months) taste-testing the goods from some of the country’s finest frozen dessert artisans until they eventually narrowed it down to two to grace the Rosé scoop counter – Everest and Delizia Gelato and Sorbet. Offering a mouth-watering array of 24 flavours such as the people-pleasing choc hazelnut (yum!) and a magnificent rock-salt caramel through to more unusual creations including Italian pistachio, rum-and-raisin and licorice, Rosé Gelareria’s range is vast and constantly evolving. Dairy-free and plant-based pals aren’t left out in the cold, as there are seven vegan-friendly options to lick including a surprisingly creamy vegan mascarpone with hints of fig and a zesty lemon sorbet. Feeling adventurous? Go ahead and order a decadent maca-rose creation, which is topped with a chewy macaron. Rosé Gelateria also stocks a stunning selection of baked treats, coffee and locally made artisan goods.
