Resort Kiosk


When people go two tram stops past their destination just to get an acai bowl from Resort Kiosk, you know it’s got to be good. The popular Yum Gelato in Surfers Paradise has rebranded and expanded to include smoothie bowls, super smoothies and Botanica fair-trade organic coffee alongside all of the delicious fruit-based sorbets and gelato flavours that you’ve come to know and love (looking at you, blueberry yoghurt). While acai bowls aren’t exactly new, Resort Kiosk’s aren’t your run-of-the-mill variety and almost take on the creamy consistency of gelato rather than the kind that melt quicker than a soft serve on a 40-dregree day. Based on coconut water, the vegan bowls are made using Amazonia acai and/or pitaya, are refined sugar free and are available in plain acai, pink pitaya and mango maca. If you simply can’t decide, we (highly) recommend the unicorn bowl, which is a combination of all three topped with granola, coconut yoghurt, fruit and powdered blue spirulina for a magical touch. Keep an eye out in coming weeks as there is a health focussed all-day breakfast and lunch menu in the works that will offer superfood components, think botanical bowls and loaded pockets for lunch.
