Pomodoro Pizza and Pasta
You know that saying that summer bodies are made in winter? Well, we have some good and bad news. The good (great) news is that Pomodoro Pizza and Pasta has opened its doors at The Strand at Coolangatta! The bad, is that it’s probably not so good for your diet plan, unless of course it happens to include amazing Italian-style woodfired pizzas in a myriad of mouthwatering flavours and beautifully rich and creamy pastas. The venue is the latest venture from The Buddha Group, the same culinary wizards behind Charr’d and Jaffle HQ, so you know you’re in for a treat. Start with a herb and garlic pizzete before moving on to a main of delightfully delicate handmade gnocchi or chicken florentine on your choice of linguine, spaghetti or penne. Side it with a rocket and parmesan salad and you have yourself a feast fit for a king (or queen). If pizzas are more your vibe, Pomodoro boasts a satisfying selection of classics ranging from margherita through to the specialty marinara, which is loaded with an assortment of premium seafood, onions, tomato, capsicum, garlic and mozzarella. The best part? Pomodoro offers three basic (but not basic) pizzas and a couple of pastas for just $9.90 making it the perfect midweek lunch or budget-friendly dinner with the family. Nestled next door to Thanh Binh Bamboo, Pomodoro Pizza and Pasta is open seven days for lunch and dinner.
To celebrate its grand opening, Pomodoro Pizza and Pasta is giving away free pizza between 12:00–2:00 pm on Saturday 16 June!
