Love your pies? This Burleigh hub is well worth a visit. All of the pies here are made in house from fresh and local ingredients, including grass-fed meats and mostly organic produce. There’s classic pies like the The Baker’s Original, which is lovingly jammed with chunky porterhouse steak, pulled brisket and root vegetables in a rich gravy, which is served with roasted vegetables on top. You’ll also find a bunch of boundary-pushing pie creations like The Shorty Mac is filled with smoked chipotle beef in a bourbon sauce and topped with four-cheese macaroni, a karaage chicken pie (for real) swimming in a teriyaki sauce, and a slow-cooked pulled-pork pie filled with potato bake and topped with chunky apple sauce and salty pork crackling. There are also hot jaffles, fresh bowls, dairy-free soft serves, raw treats, cold drinks and more.
