If you’ve been in and around Burleigh Heads for a while, chances are you remember tucking into a big breakfast at The Pantry followed by dinner at The Blue Onion. Whilst the latter is long gone, The Pantry has continued to delight diners since opening its doors 27 years ago. The casual beachside cafe has recently revealed a dreamy new look with a modern palette of white and natural timber accented by stunning dried flower arrangements suspended from the ceiling. The menu has also received a much-needed revamp. Enduring crowd favourites such as the big breakfast and eggs Benny have made the cut alongside some more ‘modern’ dishes including plenty of plant-based options. The Raw Green Bowl promises to get your morning off to an excellent start but if you’re in the mood for something on the sweeter side, the blueberry and banana pancakes are a real treat. The coffee is by Paradox Coffee Roasters and there’s a selection of cold-pressed juices from HRVST. If it’s been a while in between visits, add The Pantry back onto your must-try list.
