Opening in the late 1980s, the standing-only Oyster Bar at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort was once dedicated purely to oysters, champagne and let’s be honest, straight-up 80s decadence. February 2019 marked its transformation into Oyster Bar & Grill, expanding beyond simply oysters and champagne while still retaining the venue’s refined and classic roots. The intimate bar and eatery offers a share-style menu driven by seafood, with hints of indulgence and a curated champagne, wine, beer and cocktail list. Indulge in the likes of fresh oysters topped with prosecco granita, Moreton Bay bug tails straight from the grill, or the decadent 600-g Cape Grim New York strip for two, served with a bottle of cabernet sauvignon.
