Nude Amigos

If your ears prick up at bold Mexican flavours, colourful dishes and tequila, pull up a seat at Nude Amigos in Broadbeach. The venue has transformed the former Cardamom Pod overlooking the park in Broadbeach into a light and bright Mexican restaurant. Fresh, local produce takes centre stage, enhancing the flavours of the food and margaritas, which use freshly squeezed lime. The menu meanders from light bites of char-grilled corn with coriander mayo and totopos with traditional guacamole that’s made in a molcajete. The sopes with pulled chicken, beef or jackfruit offer a tasty twist on traditional tacos, but for sticklers for tradition, there are eight different types of tacos to munch. For a theatrical main, the Azteca flaming steak is served flaming at the table bathed in a chipotle mezcal butter. Ensuring that no guest is left behind, Nude Amigos offers a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options as well as a dedicated menu for little ones. When it comes to the drinks, margaritas are undoubtedly the hero with hand pressed lime juice and Patron tequila. Book a table here.
