Next Door Espresso Burleigh
Located within the St Barts lifestyle precinct, Next Door Espresso serves up organic coffee from Byron Bay’s Moonshine, a concise menu of simple and vibrant all-day eats, and down-to-earth vibes on the side. While it’s off the beaten track, the cafe’s Mediterranean-inspired architecture, lush greenery and timber furnishings (all hand picked by St Barts designers) certainly don’t make you feel like you’re sitting in the heart of an industrial precinct. The food offering covers breakfast, brunch and lunch bites – treat yourself to an organic croissant with butter and jam, a thick slice of gluten-free banana bread with local honey, or enjoy the dairy-free and vegan spiced bircher with coconut yoghurt, seasonal fruits and a macadamia-nut crumble. There’s also too-pretty-to-eat acai bowls, a healthy green salad, brunch bruschetta, as well as simple all-veggie or ham-and-cheese toasties using organic sourdough from Tweed’s The Bread Social. Teas, cold-pressed juices and a colourful collection of coffee alternatives (like beetroot and turmeric lattes) round out the drinks selection.
