The deli features a tasty selection of meats, cheeses, house-made dips, olives by the tub, meat and cheese-filled Turkish pide bread alongside two isles full of international groceries, bulk spices and sweets. Famous for falafel, you’ll find lunchtime particularly busy here as the locals line up for the well-known falafel wrap – crunchy hot falafel, hummus, tahini, tabouli, fresh lettuce and chilli. Grab a fresh-made kibbi (burghul and mince) while you’re there, and finish with a baklava and a couple of kourabiedes to go.
