Motto Motto
Motto Motto is Japanese for more more, which is fitting because that’s precisely what you’ll be saying once you get a glimpse at the menu. Brought to life by the fine folk behind Brisbane’s renowned Japanese restaurant, Sono, Motto Motto brings fine dining ingredients and quality to the world of fast, casual dining. First things first, order a plate (or two) of JFC a.k.a Japanese fried chicken because the menu cannot be properly appreciated whilst one is hangry. If you’re feeling something on the lighter side, the bowls will be right up your alley with a choice of teriyaki chicken, seared salmon, slow-cooked pork belly, wagyu beef, grilled eel or sashimi-grade tuna served on a bed of crispy green salad or rice. For serious starvations, opt for the belly-warming bowls of Japanese curry, slurp on some tonkotsu ramen soup with slow-cooked pork belly or go all out with a bento set, which contains a rice or salad bowl, chicken karaage, miso soup and fried edamame. Finish your feast with a waffle cone of green tea ice-cream or a glass of cold green tea however if you fancy a tipple, the venue is licensed with a succinct selection of Japanese beers and wines. Next time you’re at Pacific Fair and those pangs of hunger hit, make haste to Motto Motto.
