Mirror Bar
The owners of Surfers Paradise’s brand-new IceBar Surfers have unveiled a dazzling new venture upstairs called Mirror Bar. When we say everything is made from mirrors, we mean it. The seats, the tables, the bar, the walls, the ceiling, and yes, even the floor. The floor is constructed from toughened glass with mirror backing, while the furniture is heavily polished stainless steel. Upon arrival, patrons are given a pair of non-slip socks (and for those in skirts or dresses, there are also bike pants you can borrow while you’re in there), and the sessions run for 45-minutes. As you step inside the bar, you are greeted with your own reflection from every possible angle. The Kaleidoscope room, however, will make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a scene from Alice in Wonderland. With mirrors at all different angles and LED-strip lighting creating fun effects, it’s a wild sensory experience. As for the drinks, Mirror Bar’s cocktail list is similar to Ice Bar downstairs, carved into classic, signature and premium sips. The Lost Explorer – a zingy mezcal paloma – is a vibe, but if you’re in the mood for something a little left of centre, T07 5551 2058he Green Lady is the venue’s twist on a white lady and is made with Green Ant Gin that’s made with actual ants to give it a citrusy pop.
The venue is not suitable for children under four years of age.
