Millers Espresso

The newly revamped Millers Espresso in Mudgeeraba is the definition of a friendly neighbourhood cafe. Originally The Millers Hands, the quaint hole-in-the-wall venue has recently adopted a new name and with new owner Russell Mundy at the helm, you can expect some damn fine coffee, cool vibes and some top-notch nosh. The brews are by Allpress Espresso so there’s an immediate sense of familiarity but it’s the baristas that go to extra lengths to know their customers by name and coffee order that makes all the difference. Peckish? There is a succinct selection of breakfast favourites including the house-special scrambled eggs alongside a cabinet that is brimming with freshly made sandwiches and deliciously tempting raw treats (looking at you Snickers slice). The menu is proudly sustainable and locally sourced, the produce for example, is sourced from a local community garden. While you’re waiting for your coffee, have a browse of the community wall, which is filled with a range of goods from local makers. You’ll find everything from candles and kids books through to honey and incredible handmade ceramics from local Japanese artist Chicaco.
