Metro Coffee Burleigh

Broadbeach favourite Metro Coffee has opened a sibling spot in the beachside suburb of Burleigh Heads. Transforming the former Butler’s Tea Room + Noshery, Metro Coffee Burleigh isn’t here to “reinvent the wheel,” its owner Andrew says. They’ve taken the winning formula from Broadbeach and applied it here, with the added benefit of a liquor license as well as options to delve into catering and functions. The menu features a selection of staples people know and love with a Metro twist, including crowd-pleasing zucchini and haloumi fritters to chilli-infused scrambled eggs and wagyu savoury mince. Wash it down with a smoothie, freshly squeezed juice or a cold brew that’s made in-house using a Colombian single-origin. As for the caffeinated beverages, Andrew has been working with Sydney’s Coffee Galleria to supply both Metro Coffee locations. Metro Coffee uses fresh ingredients, local suppliers, bakes pastries in house and makes all of the sauces.
