Palm Beach is on fire right now with new restaurants and cafes popping up all over the beachside suburb like mushrooms after a summer storm but one that has well and truly set tongues wagging is Las Palmas. With dreamy coastal vibes, crafted cocktails and Latin American bites, it’s not hard to see why. The venue has taken the former Lester & Earl space and transformed it into a beautiful, light and bright venue that dishes up a delightful array of Latin American share plates including haloumi-stuffed empanadas, tuna tartare and charcoal fish. As for the drinks, seasonal flavours utilising Australian products feature heavily with concoctions such as the Bittersweet Symphony (pear, anise, lemon, gin, elderflower liqueur, Pisco and Davidson plum) and the Tiki Bastard (pineapple, basil, coconut, Orgeat, lime, Amaretto, light rum and dark rum) gracing the list. There’s also a selection of Australian craft-beers on the taps alongside white, red, rosé and bubbles. Las Palmas is the latest venue from the masterminds behind Byron Bay’s The Mez Club, so you know you’re in for a treat. Got a group? Great!
