Ida’s Kitchen

Tucked in along Olsen Avenue in Parkwood, Ida’s Kitchen is a sleek-yet-homely daytime cafe. You’ll find coffee by boutique Sydney roaster Maloney St pouring daily, as well as a cabinet full of housemade treats and pastries. There’s a delicious all-day menu, starting with smaller eats like The Bread Social toasts with house preserves, acai bowls, bacon and egg rolls, as well as larger dishes like a streak-bacon-topped Eggs Benny, and savoury kimchi waffles topped with a spicy Asian watercress salad. For lunch-style eats, think cheeseburgers with Monterey Jack cheese, dill pickles, lettuce and secret burger sauce, a fresh crunch salad with citrus dressing, and a decadent karaage chicken bun with a red-cabbage slaw, seven-spice mayonnaise and Ida’s chilli sauce. There’s also a selection of smoothies, organic cold-pressed juices and indulgent milkshakes to sip.
