If you have not yet met Hubert’s acquaintance, allow us. Hubert resides in Tugun and believes that you shouldn’t have to choose between eating right and eating well. Here, they are one in the same with a seasonal menu that showcases a farm (or field) to fork philosophy. Get your day off to a great start with the sauteed green bowl loaded with locally-grown greens, nuts, goats feta, a gooey poached egg, avocado and pomegranate or indulge in the deliciously decadent shakshuka eggs. If that all sounds a bit healthy, there’s always the banana bread French toast drizzled with real maple syrup (is your mouth watering yet?). The lunch menu offers a succinct but still impossible-to-decide selection of beautiful summery salads, poke bowls and a seriously tasty Moreton Bay bug burger. Hubert believes in local food systems, supporting farmers and in the benefits of sustainable practices. In fact, the team at House of Hubert are so committed, their aim is to become a waste-free and completely sustainable restaurant. Now that’s something to feel good about.
