home.

If you find yourself down Pottsville way with a hankering for a little something something, make a pitstop at home. The newly opened venue, housed in the former Henna Cafe, is the work of Adrian and Dani Stevens, who you might recognise as the popular healthy lifestyle advocate and super mum behind travel blog Nomadz6. The space itself is warm and comforting, a philosophy that filters through to the menu that offers old school classics with a modern twist. Get your morning off to a healthy start with the much-loved bird bowl, which is filled with brown rice, roasted pumpkin, avocado, hummus, haloumi, mixed seeds and a poached egg with a freshly squeezed juice or a fresh brew from Burleigh Heads’ Social Espresso. If that all sounds a bit healthy for your liking, opt for The Buckley, which is piled high with bacon, poached eggs, fetta, avo and chilli. The produce is organic where possible and all locally sourced. At home., dietary requirements are accommodated with ease and the majority of dishes can be altered to be made vegetarian or vegan. There are plans to extend into dinner trade but for now it’s all about good, wholesome daytime eats and excellent brews of the caffeine kind. And judging from the packed dining room, it seems they are nailing it on both fronts.
