Harajuku Gyoza

The Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium, located in Broadbeach beneath The Oasis Shopping centre, is Australia’s first Japanese microbrewery. Step inside and you’re greeted with a hearty “Irasshaimase”, before being met by four giant beer vats, pumping out Harajuku Gyoza’s own Japanese craft beer and cider called Yoyogi. A range of six core beers, plus seasonal releases, will be brewed on-site every day. Beer does not come any more fresh than that. The piping-hot gyoza is the clear hero here, and rightly so. You’ll find these fresh pillows of goodness dripping in sauce with combinations like pork and kimchi, duck with spicy vinegar, and even a crispy fried three-cheese gyoza. Alongside the gyozas, you’ll also find the likes of vibrant poke bowls and hearty chicken katsu burgers, to colourful Japanese salads, crunchy karaage chicken and tebasaki-peppered fried chicken wings.

WEEKLY DEALS: If you’re penny-pinching, take note that Harajuku Gyoza offers a range of fabulous cheap eats throughout the week. You can chow down on $1 dumplings on Mondays, 50-cent wings on a Wednesday and two-for-one plates of gyoza on Thursday – your shout! You can take advantage of these hot offers through the Harajuku Gyoza app, and they are only available to dine-in and takeaway customers (no Uber Eats, sorry!).
