If you’ve never ventured into The Eco Village in Currumbin Valley, then here’s a great excuse to do so. Ground Grocer, nestled in the grounds of the sustainable community, is open to the public every Saturday from 7:00 am through to 1:00 pm. It’s the perfect way to soak up the village vibe, and sort your fruit and vegetables for the week, with a spread of organic local produce and whole foods on offer. You can get yourself a co-op membership, where you can pre-order an entire box of fruit and vegetables to pick up on the Saturday. You’ll also be able to pick yourself up some cold-pressed juices and whole-food pantry products while you’re at it. Hot tip – keep your eyes peeled for the kangaroos.
