A striking living green wall in the lobby provides the first hint as to what hides behind the doors at The Star Gold Coast’s Garden Kitchen & Bar. A stark contrast to its predecessor The PA Pub, Garden features an abundance of cascading greenery surrounding an airy, light-filled dining area dotted with modern table settings. An exquisite 13-metre indoor bar commands attention but your gaze is soon drawn to the spacious deck overlooking a beautifully manicured lawn area. From the open kitchen, the chefs busily prepare Garden Kitchen & Bar’s refreshingly uncomplicated fare. Start your day with a smoked salmon bagel, keep things light for lunch with a roasted and raw vegetable quinoa salad, and in the evening, opt for the Chef’s Rotisserie served with smashed potatoes and fresh rocket salad. Complementing the food, Garden Kitchen & Bar serves a selection of handcrafted beers, wine on tap, a variety of signature cocktails and shared pitchers full of fresh flavours and local ingredients.

Blooming Set Menu at Garden Kitchen and Bar
As part of The Star’s tantalising 40 Days of Flavour festival, hungry patrons can partake in a Blooming Set Menu at Garden Kitchen and Bar for a limited time only. For just $65 per person, you can discover the best of our state on a plate across four courses of fabulous food. To start, indulge in fluffy house-baked focaccia with sun-dried tomato and olive tapenade (or upgrade to taramasalata for $5 if you’re feeling fancy), followed by an entree of house-cured ocean trout. Next up is the main course of succulent Sunshine Coast lamb loin, with a silky chocolate hazelnut raspberry bar and Baileys ice-cream to finish. Listen up, music lovers! Make tracks to The Star for another exciting season of entertainment on The Lawn at Garden Kitchen & Bar, with headline entertainment brought to you Live & Free by White Claw Hard Seltzer. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of The Lawn and enjoy a variety of R&B, electro house and acoustic acts every week with headline acts every fortnight (hint – you can see the full line-up here). On top of the top-notch tunes, you can also dig into delicious bites like fried cheeseburger dumplings, Jamaican jerk chicken burgers, truffle-salted chips and mini Cuban sandwiches with mojo roasted pork, smoked ham slices, Swiss cheese, sweet-and-spicy pickle and mustard.
