Gallura Italian

Love seafood? You’re in the right place. Gallura Italian is inspired by the Italian island town of Sardinia and offers a menu of traditional Sardinian specialties, with a few subtle twists and modern adaptations. Local seafood from the Tweed region shines bright here, with dishes like chargrilled local octopus with cannellini-bean crema, pickled green tomatoes, baby radish and nduja and Italian favourites like spaghetti vongole (clams) and a lemon-butter risotto with king prawns pulled straight from the Tweed. There’s also land-based eats like eye fillet and lamb ossobucco with gnocchetti sardi, salted ricotta and gremolata. To finish? Sardinian seadas (fried semolina dumplings) filled with ricotta and served with local organic honey and caramelised apples. There’s an all-Italian wine list on pour, as well as Sardinian beers and Italian cocktails – the burnt orange negroni will do just fine.
