Fuku Japanese

Let’s face it, $10 doesn’t get you a lot these days, unless of course you happen to be at Fuku Japanese in Broadbeach and it gets you a hefty plate of the venue’s specialty teriyaki chicken on a bed of white rice and a side salad smothered in delicious Japanese mayonnaise. Hidden away in Niecon Plaza, Fuku Japanese has been dishing up saucy plates of happiness for nearly 30 years and has become somewhat of a stalwart among the local office workers who congregate here several times per week. There’s nothing unnecessarily fancy about Fuku, rather it’s humble and authentic – a reflection of the venue’s owners, husband and wife duo Hung and Montira Le along with their son Matthew Le. The menu ranges from delicious deep-fried delights such as the Torikatsu through to belly-warming chicken soup and with the majority of meals coming in between $10 and $15, it’s not just your tastebuds that will be singing Fuku’s praises.
