Frankies Brasserie

Tucked below the Aria apartment tower on the corner of Surf Parade and Queensland Avenue, Frankies Brasserie is all about refined eats, great wine and a relaxed neighbourhood vibe. Frankies is intentionally uncomplicated, with chef Dylan Cashman delivering a concise one-page menu consisting of five entrees and five mains to service its core evening trade, while a brunch menu will be served from 11:00 am on weekends. Provenance and seasonality are the drivers here – the menu, albeit succinct, is designed to create a connection between diners and local produce. Think dishes like Northern Rivers beef tataki, charcoal-roasted Ballina king prawns and a unique take on Parisian steak frites using Darling Downs sirloin with mushroom and seaweed butter. Frankies Brasserie also boasts an all-Australian wine offering, with everything on its compact cellar list available by the glass.
