Falafels Vegetarian Kitchen

If you have an appetite for adventure, make a pit stop at Falafels Vegetarian Kitchen a priority. The neighbourhood noshery has opened its doors in Mermaid Waters slinging a mouth-watering array of meat-free dishes including loaded eggplant, packed pitas and bowls. Geared primarily towards takeaway, there are a handful of tables for those who wish to sit and savour the experience, which we strongly recommend. Do yourself a favour and start with a serving of hummus falafels before you even begin to contemplate your next step. The salad bowls have proved popular while those with a hearty appetite can wrap their mitts around a pita pocket loaded with falafels, hummus, tahini, cabbage, tabouli and pickles, traditional Sabich or a felafel burger. The venue is the handiwork of Noam Katzir and Ariel Kedar, who have delved deep into their childhood memories to curate a menu that delivers a modern take on traditional Middle Eastern street food.
