Located on Connor Street (next door to Burleigh Tropicana), Crew serves up specialty coffee, eye-catching eats and fun vibes (oh, and really good music). There’s an all-day menu that covers all dietaries and hunger levels, with a balance of healthy plates (think breakfast bowls, nourishing salads, pitaya chia pudding and maqui-berry granola) and moreish dishes like braised Cuban-style pulled-pork eggs benny with cheddar waffles and chipotle mayonnaise. If you like dessert for breakfast, there’s the Hong Kong bubble waffles filled with a hefty glob of Nutella and topped with vanilla mascarpone, banana brulee, pistachios and raspberry puree. For lunch? Get stuck into a milk-bun beef burger with smoked cheese, fried onion rings, thousand island sauce and mustard with rosemary fries, a smashed-chickpea roll with green-tahini slaw, mushrooms and beetroot hummus, or the Dirty Bird – a sesame milk bun sandwiching fried chicken, chipotle, charred corn, mayonnaise and slaw. Crew is also pouring its own specialty Inglewood coffee – there’s a house blend for milk coffees, a single origin for black and espresso, as well as filters and batch brews.
