Ciao Ciao

Bringing a little taste of Italy to Robina Town Centre, Ciao Ciao along The Promenade is your new go-to for breakfast, lunch and dinner (as well as coffee and cake at any time of the day). As you may have deducted from the name, the venue specialises in Italian fare for Australian tastes and offers a tasty range of pizzas, pastas and burgers that are made fresh to order. The all-day breakfast menu contains a satisfying selection of classics including the ever-popular smashed avo benne however if you’re someone who appreciates a good burg’ or even pasta for breakfast, you’re in luck because the rest of the menu is available as well. In fact, the venue’s manager Nuno encourages that kind of culinary spontaneity. When it comes to burgers, it’s hard to go past the Black Sheep, which is loaded with haloumi and a slab of Australian lamb, and if you’re talking pasta, the classic pesto with penne is the staff pick. Tip, add chicken and mushroom (you’re welcome in advance). Just be sure to leave room for the doughnuts which are handmade by an Italian baker. In true Italian style, the portions err on the generous side and the venue is licensed so there’s plenty of wine on hand to wash it down. If it’s too early for wine (said no one ever), the coffee is a specialty blend from Melbourne and is definitely no consolation prize. Ciao Ciao can cater to gluten-free as well as vegan friends so everyone can enjoy the deliciousness.
