Carmody’s Restaurant & Bar

Everyone loves the luxury of a fine-dining experience and Carmody’s Restaurant is sure to impress as soon as you walk through the doors. Carmody’s is known for its top-end steak offering (the Angus OP rib with campfire kipflers and crispy garlic is a must-try), as well as its encouragement for sustainability and support for local producers, with names like Fig Tree Organic Farm, Paul Graham’s Organic Farm and Sunforest Organic Farm featured across its menu. Indulge in Ink Gin and kombucha-cured trout topped with yuzu dressing and sea succulents, followed by certified-organic pork belly served with seared scallops, Pernod-braised fennel, apple puree and goji-berry jus. If you’re after a delicious vegetarian option, you can’t look past chef Nathan Hay’s signature house-made smoked potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, fried enoki, zucchini blossom, creme fraiche, pecans and shaved gruyere. Finish off your culinary journey with the decadent Venus De Milo chocolate panna cotta complete with Nutella rice-bubble crisp, salted caramel, Oreo crumb and rocky-road ice-cream. Diners can also enjoy elegance and sophistication at Carmody’s Bar, the perfect place to relax after dinner with a cocktail, whisky or wine.

Whether you’ve been before or are keen to try, make a beeline for Carmody’s to try its latest menu, which is dotted with deliciousness! Think starters like braised pork shoulder and chorizo taquitos, and bloody Mary-grilled prawns with tequila guacamole, bloody Mary butter and chorizo crumb. Tuck into mains like twice-roasted duck with butternut skordalia, or an organic rib fillet with green-ant-gin infused peppercorn sauce. To finish? The Irish Cream dessert of Baileys creme brulee, maple pecans, a Golden Gaytime crumb and rock-salt caramel ice-cream. Drooling yet?
