Big Sur Coffee

If you’re impartial to a little brunch, mosey on in to Big Sur Coffee in Labrador for a mid-morning feast of sourdough topped with a thick slather of creamed corn, a gooey poached egg and finished with a green chilli relish or the ever-popular bubble and squeak that offers slow cooked corned beef brisket, crispy fried egg, roasted potatoes and carrots topped with homemade HP sauce. The venue is the second for owner Matthew Cossens, who also established Niche Espresso in Miami. The minimalist surrounds are reflective of Matt’s approach to food – simple, uncomplicated and satisfying.
