When you see a pink baseball cap with the text ‘Hats off to ya!’, you know someone with sass and inimitable wit must be behind it. The newly launched capsule collection by Melbourne brand Skin and Threads has Zoe Foster Blake written all over it – and we want all seventeen pieces (please).
The collaboration between Skin and Threads and journalist, author and founder of Go-To skincare products, Zoe Foster Blake, is a match made in fashion heaven. The new drop has launched online for pre-sales, and will be available in stores from August 7. The collection, aptly named Iced ZoZo exudes Zoe’s sense of fun, colour and effervescence by referencing her favourite foods, animals and sense of humour.
The pieces give a fun-loving nod to the 80s and 90s (oh, to be back there!) by paying homage to Zoe’s own love of bright colours, lobsters and hot chips … yes, as in the hot, takeaway variety. There’s a strong Australian undertone, with patriotic references like the bright red intarsia merino sweater featuring a large cockatoo and the retro Melbourne at Night tee.
