The Front Yard is not your run of the mill hair salon. Particularly because it isn’t a hair salon at all, rather, it’s a salon gallery hybrid that also happens to brew a seriously good coffee. The unique venue is the work of Natasha McMillian who envisaged the space as a place people can chill out on the deck with a coffee, update their look with a fresh cut and colour and appreciate art all at the same time.

There are plans to include a select range of vintage clothing and a barber out the back but for now it’s just the ladies manning the salon side of things. The Front Yard is housed in a charmingly renovated old weatherboard house that exudes warmth and 1960s beach vibes.
