Hidden behind an eclectic facade of colourful mis-matched doors and windows at Rabbit and Cocoon, the space is part meeting place part studio and is the work of dreamer, creator and all-round lovely lady Rachel Valentine. Rachel has found her life’s purpose in equipping others with excellent skills including repurposing tea towels into cushions, crocheting, sewing, embroidery and making miscellaneous homewares such as concrete planters.

Some of the upcoming workshops including making crochet bowls, Facebook for business, beginners crochet and how to make your own kokadama (hanging moss balls). Sure you could go to the store and buy one but where’s the sense of self-satisfaction?
