Tacoola reinvents the crochet bikini

Inspired by the carefree beach babes of the 1970s, Tacoola offers a collection of crochet bikinis that combine fashion and function.

The crochet bikini is undoubtedly a quintessential symbol of summer and effortless bohemian style. The downside is that they are almost certainly reserved for swanning on the shore and looking pretty rather than swimming or doing any kind of moving. Local label Tacoola has changed the crochet game and reinvented the iconic bikini to include little niceties such as padding, boning and underwire for support, structure and strength.

Having only launched in March this year, Tacoola has already sold-out its debut range and has unveiled its second just in time for summer. The new First Light collection offers a range of flattering styles including the Billie Bralette, the Tallulah Off Shoulder Bandeau and the Penny Halter. The bottoms feature a slightly higher cut in the leg to elongate your extremities and are double lined with lycra for a little added peace of mind. Shop Tacoola online or at A Little Birdie Told Me in Burleigh Heads.
