Spell & The Gypsy Collective unveils its Sunset Road collection
Spell & The Gyspy Collective’s October 2015 injection, Sunset Road, was inspired by the 1990s cult classic Thelma & Louise and effortlessly mixes classic Americana influences with whimsical lace and gypsy dresses.
The new Sunset Road collection from Byron Bay’s Spell & The Gypsy Collective will have you dreaming of dusty desert adventures and epic road trips. The collection’s signature Sunset Road print was, as with all of Spell’s original hand-drawn prints, a labour of love. With Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon playing on loop in the background, Isabella drew on classic American visuals including the eagle, cactus, aztec patterns and stag horns when designing the print.
Rounding out the collection is the 1990s-inspired Rambling Rose floral print, a play on the brand’s signature Spell crochet-knit dresses, the highly anticipated luxe-lace Wild Belle gown and Peasant Throw on mini. Spell & The Gypsy Collective is the work of sister duo Isabella and Elizabeth and has grown to become a staple at music festivals, road-trips and island getaways around the globe. Set your wanting eyes on the Sunset Road range online or find pieces at The Freedom State in Burleigh Heads, White Bohemian in Palm Beach and Designer Forum in Robina.
