Step back to the 60s with dreamy new-season swimwear from Peony
Summer is officially here. Whether we need to or not, we all like to inject a few (yes, a few) new pieces of swimwear into our wardrobes. If you’re on the hunt, then cast your pretty eyes toward the latest collection from Gold Coast-born swimwear band Peony.
The new-season release, named Sojourn, takes a step back in time to summer days in the French Riviera, giving a stylish nod to the European holidaymakers who migrated to the south of France for a sultry summer back in the 60s. Peony’s new collection focuses on refined effortless style, femininity and luxurious fabrics, brought to life by colour palettes of terracotta and deep green, with hints of marigold and brighter citrus tones.
The St Jean polka dot print is a dreamy addition (um, the polka dot one-piece is amazing) and takes on the understated simplicity of French style, whilst the delicate florals in the Paloma print allows the collection to be mixed and matched. We’re digging the Hi Pant, featured in a unique combination of marigold, tan and white and an earthy terracotta tone. Safe to say we want one of everything (please).
