Spruce up your home with a piece from Maison Maison’s luxe new location
If you’re a local with a penchant for homewares, there’s every chance you’ve already fallen in love with Maison Maison Burleigh Heads. Well, friends, even if you haven’t discovered Maison Maison just yet – you’re in for a treat. The much-loved locale for exotic imported goods has just opened in a second location at The Brickworks in Southport.
Whether you can’t go past the captivating jewel-hued Moroccan rugs or are enamoured by the array of cactus-silk cushions, there’s an abundance of treasures to discover at Maison Maison’s brand-new Ferry Road location. Usually, these furnishings are the kind of thing you’d discover on international travels to faraway lands, but luckily for us, owner Kate Malvenan has done all the treasure hunting already. With wares sourced from far-flung corners of the globe such as India, Africa, Turkey and Morocco, the unique goods add a touch of something special to the home – with so much more personality than your standard flat-pack purchase.
It’s not just furniture on offer, either – Maison Maison’s light-filled new location also offers up a range of hand-selected sustainable and natural skincare products alongside laid-back fashion accessories and eye-catching jewellery. If you can’t make it in-store, don’t fret – you can browse Maison Maison’s collection (which includes carved wooden furniture, shell necklaces and ceramics) online, where the family business is taking off across Australia and internationally. It’s easy to see why, when you take in the colourful and eclectic style that Maison Maison is known for.
