Sweat in style – IKEA announces first ever fitness collection
One of the world’s most beloved distributors of affordable Scandinavian-designed furniture is stepping away from flat packs and into the fitness realm with a brand-new fitness and workout range. Hitting Australian shores on January 1, 2024, the Dajlien (Swedish word for daily) collection is all about making exercise easy, accessible and stylish.
The affordable collection features products ranging from $6 to $149 and includes exercise mats, step-up boards, ring-shaped dumbbells and a belt bag – all designed to be easy to use, store and transport, so fitness folk can be active anywhere at anytime. Dajlien’s practical designs are perfect for an at-home workout where space is limited, plus they come in super-cute shapes and colours, so you can say goodbye to bulky and unattractive gym equipment.
The Dajlien collection also includes a range of recovery and stress-relief products including an air purifier, a set of yoga straps, kneepads and a massage ball, which come in soft and soothing shades. It also offers wearable pieces such as slippers, water-absorbent ponchos for pre-and post-workout, as well as storage pieces.
