Oh captain, my captain – rent a superyacht through boat rental platform Flotespace

Summer days may have drifted away but that doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage of everything our sunny state has to offer by getting out on the big blue. However, not all of us are lucky enough to have a boat or even have friends with boats – though this shouldn’t stop you from overwater exploring. Enter Flotespace, a new boat rental platform that will have you saying “I’m the captain now”.

It only took a global pandemic (and very limited travel options) for people to fully realise their love of boating – so much so that boat rental platform Flotespace reported a 300-percent increase in requests for boat and yacht rentals over the summer season in New South Wales and Victoria, with 70-percent of all boats booked out on a regular basis. This growing trend in water-based adventures saw the tech platform seek new locations to drop anchor – and luckily for us, Queensland was on the top of the list.

The website, which aims to help boost domestic tourism, allows users to see every available slot they can book a charter boat in real-time. This feature aims to not only cut out the normal wait times involved with boat hire, but also enable owners to maximise the number of times their vessels can be booked – a win, win. Whether you want to stay close to home or you’re planning to float up or down the coast, there’s a huge range of boats, yachts and superyachts available to hire in Brisbane, Gold Coast, The Whitsundays and beyond. Hop aboard the Flotespace website to check out all of the boats for hire. Sailor hat optional, but definitely recommended.
