Embellish your extremities at Emte in Burleigh Heads
Emte on James Street in Burleigh Heads is turning traditional retail placement on its head to bring accessories from an afterthought to front and centre.
To say Emma Owens, owner of Emte in Burleigh Heads, is passionate about accessories is a colossal understatement. Her beachside boutique is a shrine for chic embellishments, quality leather goods and signature pieces that promise to complete any outfit.
The minimalist shelves showcase a carefully curated range from local jewellery makers like Violet Gray alongside well-loved brands including Samantha Wills, The Horse watches, Nakedvice and Status Anxiety as well as Emte’s own range of handbags designed by Emma herself. Emte also stocks pieces from Australian streetwear brand Dream Monstar, ISLA by TALULAH and Wildfox’s unique vintage-inspired clothing.
The eclectic range offers pieces to suit an array of tastes and styles, from dainty chains through to chunky gypsy-esque stone rings and statement cuffs. Emte is for the free-spirits and girls who are anything but ordinary.
Fashion powerhouse Marc Jacobs one mused, “any opportunity to adorn oneself is human, and accessories are an easy way to do it”. He could very well have had Emte in mind when he said it. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.
