Dillenger electric bikes give commuters a push

If your daily commute is leaving you a little hot and bothered, it might be time to consider swapping muscle for a motor. Dillenger is a Gold Coast-based company that is making daily travels a breeze with its range of nifty electric bikes.

What started as a crazy idea in a Southport workshop almost a decade ago has grown into a local success story for Dillenger with their bikes now found all around the world. The bikes are kitted out with a slim-line Lithium Ion battery so they look and feel like a regular bike with the added advantage of being able to glide past fellow commuters without breaking a sweat. Ranging from $499 for the entry level Eco model up to $6,999 for the top-of-the-line Carbon Wrath, the mack-daddy, which is capable of reaching speeds up to 50 kilometres per hour, Dillenger offers a ready-to-ride bike to suit a range of requirements and budgets. They also make electric bike conversion kits to give your current pushie a little extra oomph.

Where some of the major players work to a yearly schedule, Dillenger’s bikes are in constant development so they can always stay one step ahead of their competition. Take a peek at Dillenger’s range online or pop in and see them in person at their warehouse in Southport.
