After launching in Brisbane in July this year, new player DiDi will be rolling into the Gold Coast from Monday September 23, giving locals another choice when hailing a ride from A to B. The global mobile transportation platform will be launching its rideshare service DiDi Express as far north as Stapylton and south to Coolangatta. Currently servicing Melbourne, Geelong and Newcastle in Australia, as well as international markets, the platform connects 550 million active users around the globe to safe and affordable rides.

DiDiDAYS was a popular initiative in the launch of the platform in Brisbane, and will also be available to Gold Coast users. Across the first three Saturdays after the September 23 launch (September 28, October 5 and 12) DiDi will offer its Gold Coast users one free ride to the value of $15. Plus, those who sign up on the DiDi-Rider App before September 23 will receive 50 percent off their first five trips (valid for 21 days, capped at $10 per trip), while those who download and sign up on or after September 23 will receive 50 percent off their first three trips (valid for 14 days, capped at $10 per trip).
