Clean Beauty Market brings cruelty-free vibes to Nobby Beach

We live in a pretty great era – everyone is becoming more health conscious, sipping green juices on the daily, eating sustainable food, exercising … you get the gist. Though, how often do we think about what we put on our faces? Do you actually know what’s in your foundation, eyeliner or eyeshadow? If the thought has crossed your mind, but you assumed that ‘natural’ makeups could never cut the mustard, then Erin Norden will make you think again. She’s the brains behind the Clean Beauty Market, the Gold Coast’s first all-natural, non-toxic and cruelty-free makeup emporium, which opens in Nobby Beach this Friday September 29.

As a qualified makeup artist, Erin Norden created the Clean Beauty Market to offer people the same experiences that we’re all used to from the big-name makeup emporiums, but with one main difference – every single product is ‘clean’, meaning it’s non-toxic, isn’t tested on animals, and is completely natural. Now, if you’ve always wanted to make the switch to natural beauty brands, but found there weren’t many options out there that were actually decent, nor did you know where to go for advice, then you’re probably right. Until now, there hasn’t been many options, especially on the Gold Coast, apart from what you’d find at your local health food shop. The Clean Beauty Market stocks around 50 different hand-selected brands, many of which have not been available in Australia.

The opening of the bricks-and-mortar space (located right next door to Sparrow Eating House) will be accompanied by the launch of The Clean Beauty Market’s online store, which will ship the natural products all around the country. You’ll find brands like Josh Rosebrook, Pestle & Mortar, NV Evolution, Vapour Organic Beauty, Innersense and Australian brand Beauty Chef on the shelves. Not only is the bright, impeccably presented store filled with a well curated selection of natural products, you’ll also be able to gain advice and guidance from qualified makeup artists. You can book in for makeup applications, eyelash applications, bridal makeup, makeup lessons, and skin regime consultations – and all of the services are fully redeemable on products. The Makeup Swap service is a no-brainer – you just bring in your makeup bag and one of the experience artists will select and swap your favourite makeup products for a clean alternative that delivers the same result (if not better).

Time to make the swap to clean beauty products? Head over to our Stumble Guide for Clean Beauty Market’s opening hours and location.
