Don a party shirt from A’ROE the label
If rummaging through dusty racks of funky-scented op-shop threads for authentic vintage party shirts isn’t your idea of a Saturday well-spent, take a look at local brand A’ROE the label, its range is as good as the real thing sans the funk.
A’ROE the label creates epic vintage-inspired shirts that would make your 20-year-old dad proud. The brand is the work of local lass Nadia Aziz who has a healthy appreciation for men’s party shirts from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. A’ROE’s shirts are made from handpicked patterns and vintage-look cotton fabric and are made in limited quantities to ensure there won’t be four other gents wearing the same shirt at the bar.
Inspired by legends like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, A’ROE’s shirts are hand sewn in Tallebudgera but you can find them online or getting around The Village Markets in Burleigh Heads and Paradise Point. Keep an eye out as there are plans to branch into bowties and custom tees.
