Food to feel good about at Zambrero Surfers Paradise
Zambrero at Chevron Renaissance in Surfers Paradise is a fast-food franchise with a difference. The eatery is plating up healthy, fresh Mexican food to support humanitarian projects in Africa, Asia and the Americas.
Featuring all of your Mexican favourites including burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas, Zambrero offers healthy takeaway food that is prepared using the highest quality fresh produce, even the tomato salsa and guacamole are made fresh in store daily. The Black Rice Powerbowl is packed with protein-rich slow-cooked lean meat and black rice (the cousin of traditional white rice that is lower in carbohydrates) and is topped with vitamin-loaded amaranth seeds if you’re being really good. Along with providing vital nourishment for your body, Zambrero is nourishing your soul by donating one meal to Stop Hunger Now through the franchise’s Plate 4 Plate initiative for every burrito or bowl purchased. Just in case you needed another reason to eat burritos. So far, since its opening in October last year, Zambrero’s Surfers Paradise has contributed 8,500 meals to those living in poverty around the world. It’s truly food to feel good about.
Established in 2005, the Zambrero franchise was founded by Dr Sam Prince as a way of providing food to those in need. Through Zambrero’s 70-odd franchises around Australia, 4,350,701 meals have been delivered. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.
